I've always found Garbodor's stat spread kind of weird and unfitting. It's strangely fast and not as bulky as it looks and despite having a sludge spewing hose arm and a solid special movepool its special attack stat is quite poor. Personally, I'd prefer if it was more like this: Evo lvl 36 -> 31 HP: 100 (+20) Atk: 95 Def: 82 Sp.Atk: 85 (+25) Sp.Def: 82 Speed: 55 (-20) Total: 474 -> 499 Aftermath -> Regenerator Higher HP and excellent new ability should give it much improved survivability and higher special attack makes it more versatile. Speed is low, though it does still have Weak Armor as an ability option to sacrifice defense for speed.

I feel like plusle should be half fire. Minun half ice. Or just get stab on them through their abilities. Like dhelmise.

Honestly I always liked Lumineon. It was a mon that I looked forward to getting as a kid in DPP because it was rare ish and only available late game. I'd give Lumineon +30 SPA and Quiver Dance I love the Water Compaction idea for Maractus. Not sure what else I'd do though Plusle and Minun have their abilities reworked: Plus raises the partner Pokemons attack, Minus raises their partner Pokemons special attack. This keeps their gameplay roles as an introduction to double battles and gives them a VGC niche This was already done in Radical Red but Meganium should get Triage and Strength Sap and lean into being a bulky healer

Dondozo is similar to Xerneas in many ways. The only difference Is that Dondozo is physical and needs to swallow a tatsugiri to become a huge sweeper.

In order to defeat a top player, you need to prepare for when the countermeasures to those Pokémon are gone. You strike when the metagame has shifted away from those Pokémon.

I know Onix gets a lot of slack for being poorly designed but it's genuinely nice to see it be useful in more modern Little Cup metas.

Yeaaaah, no. Sorry but the way you went about this is something that would never realistically happen. Buffs like this are much more fun to read through if they are even slightly plausible. So instead of just upping their stats to the absurd as to drive through the point as to how useless and forgettable these mons are, just to make a joke. Why not tinker with them by giving them a new regional form and unique twists? Redistribute their stats without it just becoming ADD BIG NUMBAH? I am convinced this video either is satire, sarcasm or both, but I'm gonna give my two cents anyway. -Lumineon is based on a butterfly fish, why not lean into that and put some of that attack into more speed while giving it prankster? making it some marine menace that tricks other pokemon into doing things for them? -Maractus is well, A cactus, specifically a fruit bearing cactus and maraccas. Take some of that speed, attack and maybe even special attack, put it into Hp while giving it Harvest. make it into a party lover that always has berries to give to other pokemon to spread the fun while still turning it into a tank. -Plusle and minum are of course based on positive and negative electrical charges so why not give them an Evo that is literally just both of them together? in the same vein as maushold? Actually LOWER it's speed and put some of that into it's defenses, while giving it about the same base stat total as raichu. Heck, give it a new ability, Alternate. Alternate causes every second attack to be blocked by one of them, which would give it great utility when combined with a focus sash, allowing it a guarenteed 2, or maybe even three turns despite being rather slow. while really sending the message that the two work so well together they have essentially become inseprable. -Meganium is indeed based on a longneck, so is Tropius and I wish it was ever good. So why not dumpster that speed and special attack stat and make it into a bulky trick room user? -20 to both Spd and Spa, put those in attack and Hp instead. Heck, you want it to have a niche? Some early sauropods were carnivorous so give it a bunch of bite moves, maybe even a signature move that is always effective against Steel, Rock and Ice but still dragon type, While also giving it the Long reach ability so it can basically ignore rough skin, iron barbs and spiked helmet builds? I love the content you guys put out....and I know these mons are trash, but at least meganium deserves better than a complete joke video.

A good continuation on this theme would be Pokemon that were previously forgotten, underwhelming or just outright bad but DID get buffs in later generations or benefitted from new items or changes to mechanics. You could call it "The Torkoal Theorem", because Torkoal was absolutely bottom of the barrel for the first few generations but is now, a singles and doubles staple with just two simple changes; Drought and Heavy-Duty Boots (you could say three if you count the prominence of Protosynthesis Pokemon).

Plusle and Minun's unique ability should be a Dondozo/Tatsugiri gimmick so they're a premier double battle duo. They can combine base stats instead of getting a omni -+2 boost like Tasu-Dozo and become an absolute monster in double battles; depending on which one has the ability, that's the pokemon that "absorbs" the other; ie. One can have a different ability incase it comes out by itself but the other having minus/plus will be the one that attracts the other when together and uses it's EVs, moveset, and item. Take Plusle's buffed offenses and Minun's defenses for a combined total of: HP: 90 Attack: 50 Defense: 90 Sp.attack: 130 Sp.defense: 130 Speed: 135 The downside is just like Tasu-Dozo, they become one target until the bond is broken and the primary one faints; leaving the other behind. If this is too powerful, have the remaining pokemon be decoupled with only 1HP; this way if it's Minun it can no longer fill it's role as a support and either can be knocked out with priority moves, weather, status chip, etc. Keep both pure electric for defensive typing so it's only weak to ground and give them updated/better movepools. The better movepools could be: Plusle: - Thunderclap for priority electric STAB - Ice beam for offensive coverage. Minun: - Follow Me so it can be a supportive pokemon while alone. - Coaching so it can be a cheerleader for the team. Maybe even giving them a unique signature attack for doubles would be a good idea: "Ionic Discharge" 80 BP 100ACC Move description: "The user discharges it's electric ions is has stored in it's body. It's power goes up and hits both opposing pokemon when the user is combined with another pokemon." Effect: 50% increase in damage when user is combined with another pokemon. Becomes a spread move when combined. (This is expanding force but reskinned). There's also a possibility of giving either pokemon different solo abilities as well. Volt absorb for Minun and Lightning Rod for Plusle are two cool sides of an electric attack mitigation coin, so let's give them another coin side abilities; Split Miradon's Hadron Engine ability into halves and give it to Plusle and Minun. Would Minun set the electric terrain and Plusle get the boost while it's active. Giving them electric terrain abilities gives the duo options: Both can run the electric terrain abilities; in singles they synergize with each other without the combine gimmick, or in doubles it can be a 1 turn nuke just like Miradon is right now (balancing is that Plusle is ridiculously frail, Miradon still has it's legendary typing and insane ability) Plusle can use the combine ability and Minun has Electric Surge; This setup allows Minun to set up electric terrain then combine, giving it the benefits of electric terrain then all the bonuses of combining turn 1. This also allows the combined pokemon to use primary Plusle's moveset/EVs and be an offensive powerhouse. Minun has the combine ability and Plusle has baby-Hadron Engine boost; This gives Plusle electric terrain synergy outside of combining and the benefit of using Minun's movepool/EVs for combining as the primary pokemon, leaning into being an unstoppable tank. This is the combination that benefits most from an outside electric terrain setter and allows Plusle to run a choice item and still combine without being locked into a move.
